National Geographic Genius Picasso Season 2 Press Kit Paint-By-Numbers DVD Set
This listing is for a rare promotional press kit that was distributed to media professionals to celebrate Season 2 of the streaming television series
National Geographic: Genius Picasso. The second season premiered on National Geographic Channel in 2018, and stars Antonio Banderas as Pablo Picasso. The 10-part series explores how the Spanish-born artist's passionate nature and
relentless creative drive were inextricably linked to his personal life,
which included tumultuous marriages, numerous affairs and constantly
shifting political and personal alliances.
This award-winning press kit was created by IGNITION ad agency as part of the brand's "National Geographic and Genius" promotional campaign. It was never sold or distributed to the public. The branded gift box measuring roughly 13x13x3 and is enclosed by a canvas-textured slipcase. In includes the following contents:
- 12" x 12" canvas artwork, an original piece inspired by the cubist movement
- 2 sable paintbrushes
- 3 tubes of Utrecht Artists' Colors acrylic paint
- DVD with Chapters 1 through 4 of the series ( NOT THE COMPLETE SERIES )
- DVD with press documents and photos DVD
- Booklet
Condition: Excellent/Like New condition with light shelf wear and no sign of previous use. The press kit is complete with all contents included. The canvas, paintbrushes, and paints remain unused and the two DVDs are in Mint condition with no wear noted. The box is in Excellent condition with little to no handling wear present. The slipcase shows very light undulation from storage humidity and one area of edge wear as pictured. Overall, a well-preserved collectible. Please see photos for the exact item you will receive.
