An attractive antique silver plated berry spoon by J.H. Potter of The Rockingham Silver-plate & Cutlery Works, Sheffield, presented in its original advertising box for Watson's "Matchless Cleanser" soap.
The spoon features a beautifully detailed gilt washed bowl decorated with embossed fruit, flowers and foliage, complemented by an elegant silver plated handle. Complete with its original presentation box and tissue paper, this makes a wonderful addition to any collection of antique silver plate, advertising memorabilia or Victorian tableware.
Condition:
• Good antique condition.
• Light age-related marks, surface scratches and wear to the silver plate and gilt bowl.
• Original presentation box shows scuffs, edge wear and some paint loss from age and storage.
• Original tissue paper included.
