A beautiful antique silver plated berry spoon (or sugar sifter spoon) by J.H. Potter of The Rockingham Silver-plated & Cutlery Works, Sheffield, complete with its original box.
The pierced gilt bowl features an attractive fruit and grape design, making it both decorative and practical. The original box is printed with advertising for Watson's "Matchless Cleanser" soap, adding further historical interest and collectability.
Condition:
• Good antique condition overall.
• Light age-related wear, marks and surface scratches to the silver plate and gilt finish.
• Original presentation box has noticeable wear, scuffs, edge wear and paint loss consistent with age and storage.
• Original tissue paper remains inside the box.
