Fully working — all knobs, pads and encoders respond correctly, the tubes glow as they should, and the display is clear with no dead segments. Only very light cosmetic marks from careful use. Kept indoors in a smoke-free home.

The EMX-1 is Korg's tube-driven groovebox, built around two 12AX7 valves in the Valve Force output stage that give it the warm, saturated character it's known for. With five synth parts, nine drum parts, a 16-step sequencer with motion sequencing, arpeggiator and three simultaneous effects, it's a genuinely self-contained machine for writing and performing electronic music.
