FS6712x in good cosmetic and excellent working condition. There are faint white paint streaks on the top of the case from storage in a white enamel Elfa steel basket. These do not affect operation. The unit has these upgrades:

This is a sweet little NAS made in Taiwan that can hold 12 SSD's and function as a full computer with an HDMI display port, dual USB ports for keyboard and mouse, dual 10gbps 3.1 USB for external hard drives or JBOD, TOSLINK S/PDIF optical audio output port, and 10gbe network port. I am shipping it running TrueNAS from an included 240GB SSD. All you need to do is connect the 10gbe network port to your network, check your router to get the DHCP address, enter the address in your browser, and log in with account truenas_admin and password admin. Naturally you can change the user name and password to your liking.

If you like you can reset it to the standard ASUS ADM NAS software but I don't recommend doing so. TrueNAS has more advanced ZFS options and will survive any SSD failure much more smoothly. I suggest RAID-Z3 which would let you lose any 3 SSD's in a 11 SSD array. Load it up with 11 low priced 1TB SSD's and you have 8tb of highly fault tolerant storage.
