Awesome commemorative coin from the Bonneville Dam Second Powerhouse project in Oregon and Washington.
Front of the coin is stamped with both “US Corps of Army Engineers” who owns the dam as well as “Groves - Kiewit - Granite” who did the construction on the project for the Second powerhouse.
Back of the coin is stamped with a Logo of FDR, the Dam, and the River in Dedication of the First Powerhouse in 1937.
Paperweight is new old stock. Includes the box and care instructions and is in excellent shape.
Coin appears to have been struck in bronze but I cannot be certain as it’s encased in lucite. There doesn’t appear to be any patina to the coin.
Banana For Scale. Not included!
