Vintage Solid Silver Large 40mm Hallmarked 1967 Oval Locket Pendant on Sterling Silver 925 18 inches Rolo Belcher chain Necklace.

The makers mark is possibly vintage H Samuel

HALLMARKED: SILVER H S Ltd, LION PASSANT, ANCHOR for Birmingham Assay Office, DATE LETTER S with a cartouche for the year 1967 on the back of the pendant. There is a mark inside the locket but it has faded significantly.  Then under the cover the face of the locket is stamped with a LION PASSANT and a Date Letter S again. The Chain is stamped 925 on the chain clasp / link

MEASUREMENTS: PENDANT : 40mm (50mm including bail) x 30mm (55mm when open) . The picture setting fits a photo of 35mm x 23mm .CHAIN :18 inches

CONDITION: it is in  generally very good condition and has its original backing to ones side, aswell as inner inserts, but one red backing and plastic cover is missing from the over side , and as with all vintage jewellery please expect some light surface lines associated with silver of age.
