A great display set with gilt spine titles. I'm unsure of the material of the brown covers - it's leather-like but I don't think it is leather. Covers are bendable. There is some 'shedding' - see last photo of my photo booth after I took them out of it. Some of the attached maps were folded back in a bit improperly so you'll see a few sticking out of the book pages a bit. You may find some dog-eared pages, some paper page markers, possibly some very limited writing (I didn't see any) but didn't check every page. I also didn't notice any detached pages. Quite nice condition for a set of reference books that's over 100 years old.

Books measure approx 8.75 x 6.5 inches.
