Set of vintage, MCM Regal Dinner plates with platinum trim by Alliance China Co., Ohio. This was manufactured in the 1950's and distributed by Homer Laughlin. The floral pattern is a sprig of delicate pink flowers. This was my mothers china pattern when I was a little girl. Each dinner plate is approximately 9-3/4" in diameter. The trim IS platinum, even though the standard makers mark on the back says this is "hand painted 22K gold". Research says the standard mark was used even though it did not agree with the trim. The plates are in good condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, discoloration, or crazing. There are a couple of minor cuts/scrapes on one of the plates. They do not impact the decoration. The Platinum trim is in excellent condition with virtually no wear. From a non-smoking home.
