ACTION COMICS #268 — CGC 8.5 (VF+)
DC Comics · September 1960 · Off-White to White Pages
CGC Certification #2107991009

A bright, well-centered Silver Age Superman book in a solid mid-to-high grade, freshly slabbed in a clean CGC Universal (blue label) holder.

"Superman's Battle with Hercules!"

One of the more memorable covers of the run: Superman lies sealed in a suspended-animation tube marked "Awakening Date 2060 A.D." while Hercules — flute in hand, having put the Man of Steel to sleep for a century with a tune from Apollo's flute — pressures Lois Lane into marrying him as the price of waking him. Lois relents. Peak Silver Age premise, and a striking image on a soft lavender field.
