Easy to Install:  

  1. Place the crankshaft seal over the crankshaft nose and gently press the seal against the carrier with your hand.

  2. Insert the studs through the replacement plate. Slide the long hex spacer over the studs on the inside of the replacement plate.

  3. Slide the replacement plate assembly over the crankshaft nose. Screw three studs into the tapped holes. Install the three washers and hex nuts onto the studs. Tighten the hex nut.

  4. Check the crankshaft seal during installation to ensure it is pressed in evenly. Tighten the hex nuts no more than 12 turns at a time, alternating clockwise directions, until the replacement plate seats against the face of the crankshaft adapter.
