Vintage Levin Agate Jaw Poising Tool No. 395

Offered is an original Levin No. 395 Agate Jaw Poising Tool used by professional watchmakers for poising (balancing) watch balance wheels. This precision tool features agate jaws designed to protect delicate balance staff pivots during adjustment.

This example comes from the estate of a longtime Arkansas watchmaker and includes the original Levin storage box.

Condition:

Tool appears clean and complete.

Original box is included and shows normal age and storage wear.

I have not tested or calibrated the tool and am selling it as found.
