One of the best silhouettes ever produced by Carol, and in an especially rare colorway. Boots are done in scarred horse leather, with perforated leather soles and a reinforced rubber crepe. Also feature extra long military-style laces and Carol’s characteristic shanks at the sole and metal aglets. Boots have been worn for little more than a week during my time in Paris. As expected, the laces on one of the boots has frayed but has been retied and is still functional. CORS-PTC/01 means these are undyed, and with age have taken on a beautifully rich cream color. Size CCP6 and fits me perfectly as an EU 41. Boots will include original ricebag, dustbags, model tag, and papers. Immaculate craftsmanship as always and perfect to wear with everything (though I might not suggest wearing them to the airport or the TSA agents will treat you with contempt.)
