This guitar is like a time capsule NOS, whatever you want to call it. The finish has settled in nicely and it is set up really well, with a low action and feels great.

Honestly Ricks don't change that much. Most likely this guitar was made by the same hands and the same machines that are making the 26's today.

But...in 2023 Rickenbacker changed back to the 1960s setup of 21 frets. If you look at all of the new Rick listings here, count the frets and you will see that they have 21.

This has 24, which makes it more of a players guitar than a displayers guitar. I hate the balance of those stumpy petes personally. This guitar feels just right.

Nonetheless, I am not going to price it at a premium, because I really need to get these things moving.
