A post-war British military uniform consisting of tunic and trousers.
The tunic is fitted with King's crown black Light Infantry-pattern buttons. No maker’s or tailor’s labels remain, probably a Warrant Officer's uniform as it has been tailored but has no epaulettes.
Generally in good condition for its age. There is one small moth hole to the back of the tunic and another to the underside of the right sleeve and one on the backof the collar. Otherwise, the cloth remains in good order with expected signs of age and storage.
The measurements below have been taken as a guide to fit.
Approximate tunic measurements:
Armpit to armpit, laid flat: 19½ inches
Waist, laid flat: 18 inches
Shoulder to shoulder: 17½ inches
Upper sleeve, shoulder seam to cuff: 25 inches
Armpit to cuff: 17 inches
Centre-back drop, collar seam to hem: 30 inches
The trousers feature a zip fly, internal brace fittings, external waist-adjustment tabs, deep button-down belt loops, two side pockets, one rear pocket and a small concealed pocket positioned beside the front waistband.
The trousers are also in generally good condition, although there is a pea-sized hole to the front of the left leg and a further small hole to the front of the right leg. Please study the photographs carefully for the exact condition.

Waist, laid flat: 14½ inches
Inside leg: 28½ inches
Please allow sufficient room for any clothing intended to be worn underneath and compare the measurements carefully with a similar garment before purchasing.

Shipping
Items are usually despatched within 24 hours of payment. We do aim to get to the post on a daily basis but this is not guaranteed especially on the weekend.
Courier items may take longer as we need to book collection 24hours in advance. Couriers do not collect over the weekend therefore items finishing on a Thursday may not be collected until the following Monday.
If a Courier service is offered please note they currently do NOT deliver to all addresses or may incur an extra charge for remote areas. These include Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, etc. In this instance you must opt for the alternative courier option or contact us for a price on shipping.
Some of our heavier / bulky items can be shipped overseas but price depends on location. Please contact us for a shipping quote if one is not specified.
A note to our New Zealand buyers - for some reason eBay do not display an option for postage to NZ so please use the same displayed cost as for Australia.
We are happy to combine postage on multiple items but please wait to be invoiced or request total on completion of bidding. It makes for more work if you pay for multiple items separately and we do not get refunded for our percentage of eBay's fees.
GLOBAL SHIPPING PROGRAMME - how this works?? We send items to a central warehouse here in the UK & from there the Global Shipping company process the delivery to the overseas address. This can be a lengthy process and Point 303 do not accept responsibility for the lead time as this is beyond our control. Items are fully insured.

Terms of Sale
We are happy to accept returns within 14 working days. It is the buyers responsibility to cover the cost to return the item by recorded post unless the item is not as described or otherwise agreed. You must advise us first if you wish to return an item and use the eBay returns service.
