A super display specimen of Malachite crystals on Limonite matrix from the Lyn Clys Quarry near Oswestry on the Welsh / English border. The specimen has abundant amounts of Malachite covering most of the piece.
It measures 11 x 6 x 3.5cm and weighs 268g, and is best viewed under magnification to see the full detail. (All weights and measures are approximate).

This piece comes from a from a lifelong collector of minerals who mainly self-collected from all over the world and the UK, and he collected this piece in March 2006.
