Rare set of (2) antique (c1770) Bilston Battersea polychrome enamel ribbed tea caddies .. British, South Staffordshire. Hand painted colorful flowers all over, with slender raised gilt enamel accents. Copper gilded mounts with lift off lids.  Apx 4 5/8" high (to the top of the lids); the bases are apx 4 1/4" X 2 1/4". Please note there is restoration and chipping to the enamel on the tops (see close-ups); otherwise very good condition. Enlarge photos for detail.
