The JH-N (neck) pickup features individual ceramic pole pieces and oversized bobbins for greater attack, increased output, and a deeper, fuller low end. Meanwhile, the JH-B (bridge) uses a similar core but swaps in steel pole pieces for tighter attack and a cleaner, more focused low end—offering an articulate, defined tone with less inductance than EMG’s classic 81.
