This product is an antique copper plated pot metal, possibly Spelter featuring a Minuteman atop the Liberty Bell statue, measuring 12 1/2 inches x 5 inches. Made in the United States with spelter material, this vintage piece reflects Americana style from the era of 1900-1940. The detailing and craftsmanship of the plate showcase the artistry and history of such a unique and rare collectible item. I have not been able to find this item on the Internet so age is a guess. There is no discernable signature or mark.

The Story of Pass & Stow
- The Problem: The original bell, ordered from London, cracked soon after arriving in Philadelphia.
- The Solution: Local craftsmen John Pass and John Stow melted it down and recast it, adding more copper to make it less brittle.
- The Second Crack:
The bell cracked again, and Pass and Stow recast it a second time, creating the bell we know today, with their names added to the inscription
