This gorgeous Herkimer Diamond quartz cluster is from The Herkimer Diamond Mines KOA Resort in Middleville, New York! 

It is an extremely unusual and beautiful specimen of Herkimer Diamond gems perched on Druzy matrix which measures 0.87 inches in length. The larger gems have excellent clarity with inclusions of solid black hydrocarbon and phantoms and appear to have grown over a small nub of white druze, leaving only a small ring exposed on the bottom. Sharp edges and terminations with an immaculate surface luster. 

This is what's known as a floater, which formed floating in solution and resulted in crystal growth on every surface with no attachment marks, and is virtually flawless.
