This camera is equipped with the desirable Mamiya-Sekor 105mm f/3.5 Blue Dot lens set. The Blue Dot version is well regarded for its excellent optical performance, sharp rendering, and beautiful tonal gradation characteristic of the Mamiya C-series.

The C220 produces twelve 6×6cm exposures on 120 film and features bellows focusing, allowing close-up photography without additional accessories. Its interchangeable lens system provides flexibility rarely found in TLR cameras.
