The 430402 takes a single 3" center-fed exhaust stream and splits it into a true dual 2.5" outlet, making it a natural fit for builders converting a single exhaust system into dual tailpipes without needing a separate Y-pipe or splitter. It delivers the same bold, aggressive two-chamber Flowmaster sound the 40 Series is known for, just with the added flexibility of dual exit routing.
Built from fully MIG-welded 16-gauge aluminized steel with no internal packing to wear out, it's a durable option that's been a long-standing favorite on trucks and SUVs like the Bronco and C/K series pickups. As a universal-fit muffler, plan on welding or clamping it into your exhaust system, with new hangers recommended for a clean install.
