An exquisite antique Victorian art glass vase featuring a creamy white opaline body with an intense green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, confirming uranium glass content.

The vase has a rounded baluster form with a raised neck collar and an elaborate hand-crimped ruffled rim edged in transparent golden amber glass. Dramatic cranberry-to-amber applied glass decoration sweeps around the body, forming a curled flourish and supporting a deeply textured hanging acorn or pinecone ornament.

Its highly sculptural applied decoration is characteristic of the Victorian Matsu-no-ke style, a naturalistic glass design associated with Frederick Carder and Stevens & Williams of Stourbridge, England. Because the vase is unmarked, it is being conservatively offered as Stevens & Williams style rather than as a confirmed factory attribution.
