In the 1980s I worked for a while as Nizmo the Clown, a character based on nineteenth century auguste clowns.  I had these shoes made at the time by a specialist clown shoe maker, to my own specifications, inspired by the shoes worn by the music hall star Little Tich.  My feet are size 9-10 (UK) but the shoes are quite adaptable, with proper red tongues and lacing, so could probably be worn on feet of pretty much any size. There is no danger that your toes will be crushed! They have a few scuffs and marks - these were working shoes - but I've given them a light polish. A deeper restoration with red polish would make them really shine as they are made of real leather with a strong rubber sole.  I remember them being very comfortable and often worked long days wearing them. They are about 42cm long and 11cm wide.
