Dexter Brown (born 1942) is one of the UK's top motoring artists.
His art is held by collectors, museums and motor manufacturers round the world he has two main styles the super standard Dexter Brown signed work which range realism into abstraction and his historical impressionistic art which are signed de Bruyne
Side view of a Rolls-Royce with Roi des Belges Tourer coachwork. Looks very much like the 1912 car Reg BF 8930 sold by Bonhams a couple of years ago.. Also difficult to judge the age of the work as it is signed but not dated. It is probably contemporary with the Bonhams sale.. The art is drawn on card in pencil. The pencil signature Dexter Browis is low central. The art is unframed but is mounted with a single bevelled white art board 37 x 27 cm and is shrinkwrapped.. This is one of several pieces of Dexter Brown art that I am selling so please look at my other listings.
The drawings are part of a large collection of artwork built up over the last 45 years to act as reference for my website about motoring art and artists - motoringart.info look here to see more details about this artist
As I have passed the age of 80 it is time to sell so everything must go!
