Description

The Baneblade is less a vehicle than a rolling fortress â a super-heavy tank of overwhelming scale and firepower. Wherever one takes to the field, it becomes the undisputed centre of the battle line, with infantry and lesser tanks sheltering in its shadow while its enormous primary cannon and numerous secondary weapons pound the enemy into submission.

This massive multipart plastic kit builds one super-heavy Baneblade for your Astra Militarum army, armed to the teeth and capable of absorbing punishment that would obliterate a lesser force entirely. If you need an iron-fisted anchor around which to build an armoured column, this is it.

Armament

The Baneblade carries a fearsome array of weapons as standard: a Baneblade cannon and coaxial autocannon on the main turret, a demolisher cannon on the forward hull, two lascannons in side turrets, twin heavy bolters on a forward hull turret, two twin heavy flamers in sponson mounts, and a pintle-mounted heavy stubber atop the turret. The sponson flamers can be swapped out for a second pair of twin heavy bolters if you prefer even more dakka.

Customisation Options

The kit includes plenty of ways to make your Baneblade your own, with extra stowage, additional tread armour plating, tow hooks, fuel canisters, and options for gunners and a tank commander in the hatches â each with a choice of heads. The tank commander can alternatively be built as a standing figure on foot, armed with a bolt pistol or laspistol, with the free hand either gripping a power sword or pointing forward.
