A pair of original bound Victorian editions of the hugely popular 'Tit-Bits' magazine, comprising Volume XIV (1888) and Volume XVI (1889). These substantial hardback volumes contain a fascinating collection of articles, stories, humour, puzzles, historical features, illustrations and advertisements, offering a wonderful insight into late Victorian life.

Condition:
Fair antique condition for their age. Plenty of marks/signs of use and age. Both bindings show age-related wear, rubbing, fading and bumped corners. There is foxing and age toning throughout. Some pages are loose and several pages have tears and edge damage, with detached and ripped pages. Despite the faults, the books remain highly displayable and are ideal for collectors, research or restoration. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
