I bought this new, probably in the 1980s. I was making clothing at the time and I used it a couple of times. It works well but, once I started making quilts, I didn't have a reason to use it. It's been stored in my sewing cabinet, handy but unused for at least thirty years. I hope someone else can make use of this nifty little gadget.
