Up for sale is a vintage Ibanez Renometer No. 95 Graphic Equalizer, manufactured in Japan between 1975 and 1978.

This is one of Ibanez’s earliest equalizer units and a wonderful example of mid-’70s Japanese engineering. More than a simple EQ, the Renometer allows detailed frequency shaping that can dramatically transform the character of an instrument or amplifier. Whether used as a clean boost, tone sculpting tool or creative sound-shaping device, it offers a unique vintage feel and plenty of musical flexibility at home, in a recording studio, on stage or in a serious vintage collection.

This unit has recently been serviced, with the internal electronics checked and the contacts professionally cleaned to ensure reliable operation. It is powered via a dual 9V battery clip. The side enclosure screws have been replaced, and the original slider caps have been substituted with the black caps shown in the photos. They sit slightly higher than the originals but feel excellent in use and operate perfectly.

The pedal is now in perfect working order and represents a fantastic opportunity to own a rather uncommon piece of vintage Ibanez history.
