Bennie Green - Walking Down
1956 1st Pressing
Deep groove
RVG etched in dead wax
Prestige 7049
446 W 50th St NYC address on labels and back cover
Condition:
Disc: VG- - (is clean but has a handful of marks, see pics, unfortunately the last one in the pics is feelable. It’s on the last track of side B about 1/3 into the track. It plays through just fine, but could likely be audible depending on your tracking weight. Not an audiophile copy, but it plays, just the last track will likely have ticking, some general noise floor throughout, but these heavy pressings do take a beating and keep on bopping- again 1 feelable mark at the end of the record, unfortunately so it’s being sold As-is - I play it without hesitation, but I can’t speak for your system or ear)
Labels: VG+/VG (very light wear)
Cover: VG (no true splits, has some writing - brief notes & name - in pen on back, some faint staining on back, old stick mark on back, Cut line center top seam - see pic, it’s not a bad one - just over 1”, front is pretty clean, great color, not much surface wear to front at all, corners have little bumps, very solid and firm.)
BIG JAZZ SALE (PLEASE READ):
I am selling my personal jazz record collection.
Mostly 1950s-60s (+ a couple 70s) Bop on Blue Note, Prestige, New Jazz, Jazzland, Columbia, Bethlehem, Pacific Jazz, Muse, Black Jazz, Impulse!, Vanguard, RCA, Verve, etc.
Most are first pressing or some other very early pressing (DG, RVG, Plastylite, 6-eye, etc.)
Please message with any questions - I will do my best to grade carefully and strictly. I pack all records in a new LP mailer, with cardboard flats for padding, record stored behind cover in good inner sleeves and outer poly cover. I can’t play test each one by request, but I will note play quality when certain.
I will combine shipping by adjusting invoices immediately after the auction ends. Usually within 20 minutes of the last record ending.
I am not responsible with how eBay re-packages international orders through their global shipping program. I can’t adjust invoices for international orders as eBay controls those shipping charges. I can’t even see them.
I won’t take offers to end an auction early. Sorry, it’s just not feasible or fair to people bidding on multiple records.
