RARE 1/6 PLATE TINTYPE - FUNNY CARNIVAL CARTOON IMAGE "YOU DIRTY BOY!" PEAR SOAP ADVERTISING - You are considering a rare cartoon foreground tintype where the subject placed their head through a cartoon foreground painting. The image depicts a woman scrubbing soap onto a boy's head, with the caption written on the plate, "You Dirty Boy." This is the same basic advertising image used by a British soap company for their Pear Soap. Good luck to all my fellow collectors landing this very rare and humorous tintype. CONDITION: Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The sixth plate contains excellent contrast, tonal range and sharpness. The image has some very light surface wear consistent with age. I am sure this photograph will be cherished by a collector of antique photography.
