Bought as a project with the intention of returning it closer to original condition. Most previous cosmetic modifications have been removed. 

I have fitted a brand new genuine Ford expansion tank and cap, flushed, vacuum-filled and bled the cooling system with coolant, pressure tested it successfully. I also fitted a new cooling fan.

I have also replaced the common leaking oil filter housing with a genuine housing, fitted a new oil filter, and filled with Mobil 1 oil.

The engine was rebuilt at 84k miles and the car is now on 109k. The rebuild included a refurbished block and 4 new injectors. Compression tests have been carried out on all cylinders by me and a borescope inspection showed the cylinder walls and pistons to be in very good condition. Cambelt, water pump and other rebuild items were replaced at that time.

Other work carried out includes:

• Genuine OSF track rod end fitted
• Interior detailed, including wet-vacuumed carpets/seats and cleaned leather steering wheel

Unfortunately, I no longer have the space to store or work on the car, so it is now for sale. It is currently SORN and has an MOT until 27/03/2027.

Known faults:

• Rear anti-roll bar and rear springs have surface corrosion (PumaSpeed lowering springs included)
• Front strut top mount bearings worn (new genuine Ford bearings included)
• Exhaust tailpipe clamps need replacing
• NSF driveshaft tripod joint circlip damaged (replacement genuine driveshaft included)
• Dashboard gauges inoperative/incorrect

• Genuine replacement NSF driveshaft
• downpipe with catalytic converter

Overall, a solid project with a strong engine. It needs finishing, but is being sold due to lack of space to store/work on it.
