This is a very detailed history book on the former Porsche models, starting from the 356 and ending with the 997 gen1.

The book covers many different models, including special editions, such as the RS, Speedster, Slant Nose, and some of the racing models, such as the 993 GT2, and the GT1.   

 

There are detailed specifications along with many production numbers. For example, did you know Porsche made the G-body 911 Carrera Club Sport in a Targa version?  

The book has copious colorful pictures of many cars and details their changes in the specifications.  There are 'buying hints', and also include the transaxle 928, 924, 944 models.
