The iron was plugged in and tested. It powers on and heats properly. The temperature control was also adjusted during the basic heating test.

Important condition details:

The front water reservoir fill cap/plug is missing.

The steam function was not tested because the fill cap is missing.

Heating/dry ironing function was tested and works.

The original fabric-covered power cord shows age and exterior wear.

The iron has cosmetic marks, discoloration and signs of age consistent with a vintage appliance.

Rated approximately 1100 watts, 120 volts. Features a black handle and housing, chrome-finish body, adjustable fabric temperature control and vintage cloth-covered cord.

The Sunbeam box shown separately is not original to this General Electric iron and is not included.
