You are viewing a Kenwood Chef De Luxe A901E Edition finished in “Country Beige” with Brown trim.
Produced in 1982, the model features a Stainless Steel bowl, “K” beater, Balloon Whisk, Dough hook, original dust cover and recipe/ instruction book. The De Luxe version sold at a £10 premium to the regular Chef models and was the premium mixer of the period. It also has a matching De Luxe branded dust cover so you could show off your Chef to guests. A real status symbol of the day.
As the photographs testify, the Chef is in flawless cosmetic order and spotlessly clean. The motor responds at all speed settings following a service where aged components were replaced. The mixer has also been treated to new rubber feet to minimise vibration, allow air flow to the motor and preserve kitchen surfaces.
This is a lovely example and would make a nostalgic present or a stylish kitchen work horse.
