Key Features
Dual Sony STARVIS 2 Sensors A229 Pro is the industry's first dashcam using Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678/675 image sensors, which offer 2.5 times wider dynamic range and higher light sensitivity than the STARVIS tech, bringing much less noise and motion blur during day & night recording.
HDR for Front & Telephoto Cameras
A229 Pro is outstanding in a wide range of lighting conditions, by virtue of the dual Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678/675 sensors. Every captured footage is enhanced with a wider dynamic range to reveal more details in highlights and shadows. These flagship sensors, coupled with advanced HDR technology, balance extremely bright and dark areas to accurately restore 2K details recorded at night, even capture accurate license details in fast-moving scenes from both front and rear recording.
Smart Voice Control & Notification
A229 Pro comes with an advanced voice control feature, which allows you to start/stop recording, take photos, and turn on/off WiFi with simple spoken commands in multiple languages (English/Chinese/Russian/Japanese). It can also clearly notifies you of settings changes or memory card errors, keeping you fully focused on the road.
Ultra Fast 5GHz Wi-Fi
An upgraded 5GHz Wi-Fi connection module is built into A229 Pro to provide much faster Wi-Fi data transfer, ensuring smooth video previewing, downloading and sharing.
Super Fast Video Downloads to Phone Directly
The dashcam supports seamless connectivity to your smartphone via a USB2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable, enabling superfast downloads of photos and videos. Specifically, the download speed is up to 20MB/s on iPhone 15. This direct connection also facilitates effortless firmware updates, ensuring access to the latest features and optimal performance.
Note: Please use a USB2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable and ensure that your phone supports an output of 5V 2A. This data transfer method is compatible with the iPhone 15 series and newer versions of Android smartphones.
