Mint condition and fully functional. Piston moves freely and is tight. (Renewed cork). There is a safety stop to the filling knob. To fill the pen, the knob has to be pulled before turning it counterclockwise. That prevents accidental knob turning when the pen is used. This was a Soennecken patent, only found on some of their pens. The Nib is a flexible F one in perfect shape. A very desirable addition to a pen collection. Collectors opinion is that the 111 and 222 series of Soennecken pens are among the best pens ever made in Germany.
