This is a 28 pin EPROM ECU chip and socket for a Honda Civic VTi B16A2 OBD1 P28 ECU found in the 92-95 year models but can be used on later cars using an OBD1 ECU and harness.
The chip holds a base map written by the famous US Honda tuner Phearable using Crome for the following modifications:
VTEC engagement is lowered to 4800 rpm and rev limit slightly raised to a safe 8200 rpm. You can expect significantly improved response, midrange torque and stronger high rpm power with this tune. The car will require 99 RON fuel for best results.
Your ECU needs to be socketed for this EPROM to work. This can easily be done by anyone with some electrical engineering experience and requires the following extra components if your ECU is not already socketed:
-2 x 0.1 uf capacitors -1x 1k ohm resistor -1 x 74HC373 latch
