A 1920s evening waistcoat with a narrow formal cut, shawl collar and pale polka-dot lining. The black surface has softened through wear, with visible rubbing across the front and worn fabric-covered buttons; one button has been replaced. The lining shows several yellow age-related stains, preserving the piece in an honest, unrestored condition.
