Here's a beautiful and uncommon M.P.3 "Microdion" manufactured in Paris in the mid-1920's by Horace Hurm, whose modular, miniature & marvelous looking receiving sets are among the most collectible French radios from any era. The radio is being offered with a ca. 1925 Western Electric 517 horn speaker, also from Europe and -- standing just 16" high with a 6" diameter bell -- the perfect companion for the tiny M.P. 3, which measures just 5 1/2" wide by 5 1/2" deep by 8" high.
Condition of both components is very good throughout, and the radio will probably work (if you're so inclined) provided you can set it up with a trio of European triodes that have good emissions (the tipped tubes included with it have open filaments and suitable only for display). The horn's driver is good, and it's original (the cord has been replaced). Both of the radio's AF transformers are good, and they retain their original paper labels.
No visible damage and no repairs.
