SHIKO MUNAKATA (1903-1975) - Woodcut on Rice Paper - 11" x 12-11/16" (28cm x 32cm). Signed and dated 1957. Munakata was a Master of Japanese Woodcut - Mingei (Japanese Folk Art Movement).

A great example of Munakata artistry - very active and colorful.

Condition - Some creasing at the extreme edges of paper (see first scan, lower right corner). Some light foxing, primarily on the top margin and extreme left margin. Foxing does not appear in the image field. Bottom right has some light folding of the rice paper margin (this is not visually disruptive). Please examine photos and all questions will be answered.

This is unframed. Once this item is framed with a matte, all of the above flaws will not be visible. 

Item will be properly packaged in protective manner in a secure box.
