Published By Cambridge at the University Press C1905 Plus a complimentary copy of the Narrow Way _____________________________________________________________ Overview Miniature editions of the Book of Common Prayer are highly collectible vintage religious texts, like the one we have on offer they typically measure around 4.5 cm x 4.5 cm.  Often they feature full leather bindings gilt edges, and original publisher imprints from the late 19th or early 20th centuries.  Publishers such as Cambridge at the University Press & Oxford University Press produced these as portable, personal pocket editions for church services.  Occasionally they will feature embellished silver covers or more rarely slipcases.  Slipcases get damaged easily and are often at church    Description No date but circa 1905. 721 printed pages. Diamond 128 mo.(4.5cmx 4.5cm x1.5cm). Thin India paper  Rounded corners. All edges originally gilt but when applied to India paper the gilt soon wears. Original black endpapers. Contemporary inscription on verso of front free endpaper, sadly undated.  Original black fine leather with gilt cross on centre of the front cover and lettering on spine.  This particularly nice volume is encased in a black slip case.
