Tips to keep your bling lasting longer on items that are handled more:
  • Clean the Surface Thoroughly: Use isopropyl alcohol or mild soap and water to remove oils, dust, and grime from your phone or project. Dry it completely before application, as any moisture will cause the adhesive to fail.
  • For stronger hold: While self-adhesive, adding a tiny amount of liquid adhesive like Gem-Tac ensures they stay put on textured surfaces.
  • Use Heat During Application: Once the sticker is placed, use a hairdryer on very low heat to warm the adhesive. This helps it bond more securely to the surface, especially on curved areas.


Skin Application

A layer of cosmetic lash glue will ensure they stay in place longer.

  1. Prep your skin: Ensure the area where you plan to place the gems is clean and dry. You can apply your base makeup first, then gently clean the specific spots where the gems will go with a cotton swab and micellar water to remove any oils that might prevent adhesion.
  2. Apply the adhesive: Squeeze a small dot of the chosen adhesive onto a clean surface (like a piece of paper or the back of your hand). You can apply the adhesive to the back of the gem or directly onto the skin.
  3. Wait for the glue to get tacky: This is a crucial step for a strong hold. Wait about 20 to 30 seconds for the glue to become tacky before applying the gem to your skin.
  4. Place the gem: Use tweezers to carefully pick up the gem and place it in the desired location. Gently press down with a clean finger or the end of the tweezers to secure it firmly.
  5. Once all gems are in place, allow the adhesive to dry completely. You can spritz on a setting spray to help the look last even longer. 
When you're ready to remove the gems, gently peel them off your skin.  Use a gentle makeup remover, like micellar water or an oil-based cleanser, to remove any residual glue and cleanse your face as usual.
