Dirk Sydram (b, 1955) is an art historian, art critic, historian, and educator.  He is Director of the Grunen Gewolbes (Green Vault0 at the Staatliche Kunstammlungen in Dresden (Dresden state art museum). 

The Grand Mogul was a title that Europeans coined to denote the supreme ruler of the Mughal Empire, a Muslim dynasty that dominated the Indian subcontinent from 1526 until its dissolution following the Indian Rebellion of 1857.

Located in Dresden castle, the Grunen Gewolbes (Green Vault) is an historic treasure chamber displaying an extensive collection of art and artifacts
