This is an antique copper penny token issued by the Crown Copper Company. One side reads 'CROWN COPPER COMP' and 'ONE PENNY' within a circular design with a dotted border. The reverse features what appears to be a ship or sailing vessel within a similar circular design, with a legend around the edge. The coin is covered in aged green patina typical of old copper coinage. These types of trade tokens were commonly used in Britain during the late 18th to early 19th century as unofficial currency. Sold as a collectors or historical item. 3.5cm diameter.

Condition: Poor
Condition Details: The coin displays heavy verdigris (green patina) across both faces and the edge, consistent with significant age-related oxidation. There is noticeable surface pitting, corrosion, and general wear throughout. The edge shows irregular wear and some damage. Legends are partially legible but detail is lost in areas due to corrosion.
