It serves as the primary control interface for the user, communicating speed, directional steering, and active seating changes down to the chair's main lower power module. 
The 6-key configuration features six physical tactile button keys, which distinguishes it from basic 4-key models by providing dedicated control keys to operate electronic seating actuators, such as a power seat lift, tilt, or elevating leg rests.
