This is a family heirloom, a gift to my wife’s father from his brother, both of whom have passed years ago. It was found recently in a lock box as we were doing a bit of cleaning. It’s a beautiful piece, but doesn’t fit our design aesthetic, plus we have several other heirlooms more meaningful, so would love for it to get into the hands of someone who would appreciate it…perhaps even use it. To our knowledge it was never used for duck hunting, but as it comes with a small wooden stand, just for display. The brothers are from Maryland, so were likely well acquainted with the Jobes’ in Havre de Grace.
