Mint (M)

Absolutely perfect. Still sealed or known to be unplayed. Flawless.

Perfect in every way. No creases, ring wear, or seam splits. Like-new.

Near Mint (NM)

Looks unplayed and retains its original gloss. Flawless surface, plays perfectly with zero noise.

Nearly perfect. Minimal handling, perhaps extremely light corner wear or faint ring wear.

Very Good Plus (VG+)

Shows slight wear, such as very light scuffs or hairline scratches. Plays beautifully with only very minor, barely noticeable background noise.

Minor flaws. Light creasing, slight ring wear, or minor corner bends. No major seam splits.

Very Good (VG)

Noticeable wear. Light surface scratches and scuffs are present. Surface noise is audible during quiet passages, but does not overpower the music.

More pronounced defects. Moderate ring wear, edge wear, or light seam splits. May have stickers or writing.

Good / Good Plus (G / G+)

Significant groove wear, visible scratches, and heavy surface noise. Plays through without skipping.

Heavy wear. Major seam splits (especially spine), heavy ring wear, tears, stains, or writing.

Fair / Poor (F / P)

Major issues: warped, deeply scratched, or skips. Often unplayable.

Severe damage: completely torn apart, water damaged, or missing parts.
