Up for sale is an authentic vintage Japanese "Yahazu" (矢筈), a traditional black bamboo pole specially designed for hanging and taking down Japanese hanging scrolls (Kakejiku) safely and elegantly.
Crafted from beautiful dark Kurochiku (Black Bamboo), this rod features a 2-piece assembly design for convenient storage and transport. The top end is fitted with a Y-shaped metal fork hook (金具付) that catches the hanging string (Kakehimo) of the scroll with ease.
An essential tool for tea ceremony enthusiasts, Japanese room decorators, and hanging scroll collectors. Comes with its original storage box.
