• Condition: This amazing volume of Sechler's engineering classic shows some obvious exterior wear but remains collectible, readable, complete, and usable. The blue cloth boards are rubbed overall with fraying at corners and spine ends, and the front outer hinge is split with cloth loss exposing the underlying joint. Inner hinges are cracked and the binding is shaken, yet all pages remain attached. Front and rear endpapers carry previous owner names and class notes in ink and pencil, including a penciled contents list. Numerous interior pages display scattered pencil underlining, bracketing of equations, and brief annotations as shown. Some age toning and foxing appears on the interior pages, but our photo lights hid that a bit and we wanting you to know to expect some foxing. A few pages are marked from an old paper clip that was once present. Text pages exhibit age toning and occasional small spots. No dust jacket is present.
